For our tech crew: In order to use this website, a tech crew member must first complete the registration process. The registration process also requests information regarding your schedule, rate, skills, education, and work preferences. This information is used to match your skills with potential clients needs and allow them to contact you to discuss the details of the job. Your contact information is revealed to the client after they add your name to their contact list and complete the purchase process.


For our clients: In order to use this website, information may be requested from you to complete the registration process. During the registration you are required to give your contact information (such as name, email, address, and telephone number). Other information may be requested to help in market research purposes.

INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE

PROF1XER is a computer repair and support service. PROF1XER is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. PROF1XER will not provide any personal identifying information on individual tech crew to any third party, except in connection with possible employment. By registering, tech crews agree that certain profile information is made accessible to clients conducting searches of the PROF1XER database for possible employment candidates. These searches are performed on the following fields: Type of assistance, skills, location, and spoken language. Both the confidentiality policy and the notification policy are stated in the text and apply to all registrants. This information, when not connected to identifying information such as contact information, is accessible by clients.

PROF1XER uses tech crews’ profile for client references. Tech crews may also post a resume (in text or HTML file format) that may be viewed by the client after the purchase to help them make their selection. PROF1XER reserves the right to delete contact information or other items from tech crews resumes posted on our site. PROF1XER cannot protect pictures and resumes from being copied by users of our website.

PROF1XER may also provide a client’s contact information to a registered tech crew to service their request.

SERVICE AREA

Tech crews choose their service area by entering a postal code to centralise the base of their work. They also enter the distance they are willing to travel to meet a client to provide an evaluation and support. When a client request for support, tech crews within their service area will be selected.

For instance, by setting a cookie on our site, you would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. For our tech crew: You may correct, update or remove their personal data provided to us. You may update your profile/qualifications at any time by clicking on the commitment, skills or information links. If you wish to make your profile inactive to new clients you may do this using the ‘My Schedule’ page.
